just wanted to let evryone know that charleston is still here. :sohappy: just a bunch of wind and rain and minor flooding in downtown charleston.

I didn't even know Gaston was out there. It's kind of funny (and no I'm not being mean by saying a storm is funny) but I was bowling last night and my name was Gaston becuase when I was in French class in high school, we were able to choose our own names, and I chose Gaston because it had to be Disney, no matter what, no one was going to say I couldn't. I've had my mom and my girlfriend both tell me today that there is a storm out there named Gaston. Kinda weird.

Put me down as another one who didn't even know it was out there.....and it hit land????? Wow! Where have I been? Good to hear everything is ok.

That's good to hear, now us Floridians just need Frances to stear clear, if we have a second Hurricane it will not be good. Frances is probably going to be stronger than Charley and the streets are full of debris, which will become lovely little missles.

the storm came out of no were, it came up quick off the coast and made land fall early this morning. Funny thing is my wife was singing the song from beauty and the beast this morning while we had no power! :hammer:

Im glad this storm didn't do anything... (and i found out it existed yesterday night...)

I hope everyone who is in it's path keep their utilities on... still some minor outages in punta gorda... or so i hear....
