TRON Strategy

I will be using the Disney resort guest early entry. Usually we get on Buzz but it will be closed when we go. From there we used to go directly to Splash Mountain and the Mt Railroad, which is also closed. SO I have to come up with a new strategy. Of all the rides that are open for early entry I'm really not interested in any. 7DMT is a pass for me and we alway ride Space Mountian later in the day when the line has gone down.

My new plan is to go to early entry and then just go to TRON, get in line and wait for it to open.

My problem with this strategy would be that TRON is much better at night...

You could ride Space Mountain and then get in line for Tron.

If you’re not interested in the other rides, I doubt Tron will impress you either.

On this list of disappointing rides, Tron is a top contender particularly for the time invested.

I would say it’s not as good as 1992 splash…by a long shot…

But that was never in the cards

But it’s not as bad as you make it out to be.
If you’re in the magic kingdom and spending that much already?…it’s a worthy distraction for an hour of your life

And I tend to be a “somewhat vocal” critic of such things

This. There was no way it could possibly top the original, but it’s still a pretty fun ride if you just allow yourself to relax and enjoy it.

I will let you know how good it is when I get back.

Just to give you an idea what I like, I think 7DMT is boring, M&M Runaway Railway is terrible, and I have no idea why peole flock to Frozen.

Trackless have translated to pretty boring stateside…they serve a purpose…but won’t age particularly well

You’re probably right. For now, though, I find some of them to be enjoyable.
