I wonder what changed 6/19-6/23 that caused the 1pm drop to only be open for 3 to 8 minutes each day, vs. over an hour in the weeks before and after? That much difference in crowd level seem unlikely.

So I know for the 1PM drop you have to be in the park to enter the VQ. For the 7AM drop, can you be anywhere and get a VQ as long as you have a MK park reservation? For example, our first day we have an early flight out of Atlanta. We have a MK park reservation that day and I was wondering can I get the VQ at 7AM while I am in the Atlanta airport?

Yes that’s correct, you can get a BG anywhere in the world as long as you have valid park admission and a park pass reservation. For 1PM, you just need to have scanned into the park before 1PM and you can get a BG. I was able to scan into Magic Kingdom, go to Steakhouse 71 for a 12:45 lunch and I got a BG at the restaurant.
