I have been following this thread forever and love all the info. So here is some more…
Last night we did extended evening hours at MK. We did not have a park reservation for MK but we were able to book a VQ from outside the park before tapping in. Also, we had BG 197 and it told us 11:59 call back time. At about 10:58 I checked and it still said 11:59. At 11:00 they called all remaining groups. Tip: stay close to Tron around 11:00 pm because everyone lines up. We waited about 50 minutes but those at the end probably waited close to 2 hours.

How did you tap into MK without a park reservation?

I’m guessing he had hoppers or an AP. AP holders don’t need a reservation to enter after 2pm (other than at weekends), so he needn’t have hopped using his AP.
