The exterior ride area is currently a construction zone, especially with the incorporation of the train tunnel. Testing of the light canopy was happening last night but there is much left to do beyond cosmetics.Looks like Magic Kingdom is beginning to cycle out / run the Tron coaster with no push / pull machine attached to the vehicle. Wondering if all the coaster tests are done and all is left with the ride is cosmetics?
It is bothI haven't really paid much attention but is this a inside /outside ride or just inside?
MaybeIs there any hope it's open end of November? I'd love to get to ride. We won't be back till 2024 after this November trip.
Yes I am
WDW takes Eons to finish a ride or project. We’re here this week and there’s A LOT of outside work that needs to be completed. Also the tracks aren’t laid in the tunnel yet for the RR. The outside is still a mega construction zone.
Really happy they provided a specific date for those who want to plan. And now we know -- Spring 2023.
Having been burned by planning around opening dates... proceed with caution.Really happy they provided a specific date for those who want to plan.
I wonder if they were seeing weak booking in Spring? That is part of the delay and the fact it can be a 100th addition is just synergy?Don't be surprised if they announce an opening date when they see a low spot in resort stays.
There's a thread in Theme Park News that's for current discussions about construction progress. That's where photos are usually posted.any updated pics of concrete work?
No......Don't be surprised if they announce an opening date when they see a low spot in resort stays.
