My friend went to WDW...and decided to email me a trip report...I figured I mines well post it here for everyone to enjoy....shes not a disney obsesser like we are...so be aware...your about to see Disney throught the eyes of a newbee
Backround- she recenltey dislocated her Knee...shes travelling with dad...mom...DB1+2 (16 and 21) and a DS (sister) (14 years) and herslef (19)....
day 1- "checked into the All Star sports! OMG how cute is this resort...DB1 and dad wanted the football area but me and DS wanted the surfing one...with my leg they figure it would be best to put me in the surfing area!! we got settled and DB2 wanted to ditch us...I would have too...but I figured they'd catch me and bench me in a wheel chair...so he and DB1 left for MGM and the rest of us hung out at the pool....its a really great reosrt...we later met up with the guys at MGM for dinner at the Brown Durby...and saw fantasia (fanatasmic...so clueless....
) THE PARK WAS CROWDED! well maybe it was just that area in by RRC and ToT...but I think I ran over like 3 people with the Wheel chair...opps...I always said sry...and a nice women said back sry too...once she saw my leg..."
Day 2- "We headed out to MK...we got our pic infront of the castle...and headed to SpaM....the rides really great...I was cramped on the leg room at first...till I saw you can slide your legs beside the seat infront of you....after we did buzz lightyear..I wooped their A$$es in the game I got like 50,000 points ( ...my little sister got that score) then we head to SplM and thunder mountain...DB2 (21) chipped is tooth when he fell coming out of SplM...I laughed until he drove me into the fence and left me there....( I love her family :lol: ) His tooth was fine...but he had bit his toungue...and was kinda talking funny....I laughed again..we headed out of the parks...since it was getting crowded...we left for EPCOT...we got a FP for TT and did HISTA...DS got scared when the snake came out....and fell off the seat...later to be wacked in the face with the mice tails...( :lol: ) EPCOT wasn't all that crowded...we grapped brunch at the electric bakery thing....(electric umbrella )and it was really good...used are fast pass for TT...and went on JIYI....and then went exploring the countries...we checked out that Spcae thing you were talking about ( M:S) It looks kool...and almost done...The countries were kool...dad mom and DB2 grabbed drinks and Germany...while the rest of us sat and relaxed...we got kinda bored and headed back to the resort...my crunches got stuck on the bus...and no one realized I wasn't with them till DB2 said wheres the cripple...the Bus driver helped me and we all hung out at the pool...DB1 tripped coming out of the room...and then later DB2 "tripped" into the pool...we later went back to EPCOT for illuminations...its a really great show...kinda loud...and we had a good view..."
day3- We were all kinda bored...so we decided to go to DTD...we went into Disney quest...very cool area... late lunch at the cheesecake factory...then headed to the other side...to shop...DS got one of those Disney bears...there really cool...named him shey?!?! DB1 got the monorail set...and DB2 got the lincon logs...he's 21!! I saved my money for the clothing stores and big disney store...ended up getting some cute outfits...and cool souviners...mom and dad went to Disney Home and bought some bathroom things. We later ate at the RAINFOREST place...( rainforest cafe) and then headed back to the resort to fix up and change for PI...PI is great! the younger kids had more fun than we did...DB2 saw some old friends and ditched us...while I met some new friends....Mom and dad were tired so they took DS and DB1 back to the resort...me and DB2 showed up in our room around 12:30 am....
day 4- "our last day...we decided to split up DS wanted to see the parade at MK...and the guys wanted to go back to MGM....so we split up and met at The Board walk for Dinner...the ESPN zone was great...the guys loved it...we went mini golfing...I lost...and watched illuminations yet again..."
day 5- " we packed and talked about some highlights of the trip...we got picked up...and headed back home"
overall- "we were kinda disapointed...there were a lot of people...and not a lot of rides to house them...EPCOT was the least crowded...but TT still had 1-2 hour waits...the food was ok...but really expensive...I think the best part was the resort....its not much but its all we needed..."
Shes not down on the Lingo yet...but overall she did seem to have a good trip...its good to see WDW through someone elses eyes...someone who really really doesn't know WDW....
