Dec. 5 - Flight from Providence was delayed due to weather, but only for about 20 minutes. No issue with flight or luggage after that.
Mears took forever - I can't believe we didn't rent a car. We were at the podium pre-paid and ticketed for 1 hour before we got on a bus.
Arrival at the Coronado was pretty painless though the lines were long registration. The room was moderate and I missed the double sinks that are everywhere else. Dump luggage at room and off to meet friends at the Magic Kingdom.
The weather was great about 70 degrees when we arrived around 3 p.m. The lines were at 20 minutes tops. Space Mountain was riding both tracks which is something I haven't seen during slow times in a long time. It was nice to have a choice. Splash Mountain was down for rehab last trip so it was nice to ride it. The water level did seem a bit high as we got splashed more than usual.
Exchanged our MVMCP tickets for a wristband around 6 p.m. and were stuck in Tomorrowland until 7 p.m. It started to POUR around 630, luckily we were on the TTA and the CM let us ride until the rain slowed down, which was about 6 round trips. All the events were cancelled and there was no snow on Main Street. So it was a bust. We decided to gather our pruned selves and head over to the California Grill for drinks and appetizers, soaking wet. Great food and drink! I love the Grill!

Dec. 6 - Headed over to MGM in light rain. Rode the ToT and RnR without much of a wait over and over. Did all the major attractions until we were satisfied. Went back to the Coronado to change and headed over to Epcot for Dinner at the San Angel Inn in Mexico. The service was great. The food was all right - very different. Walked over to the American Adventure, saw it, then got hot cocoa and cookies from the gingerbread house in the Liberty Inn (?) Strolled around Epcot for awhile. Went back to hotel when it got chilly.

Dec. 7 - Animal Kingdom. Went on the best safari ever. A rhino camped out in front of our tram. Elephants were an arm length away - it was great. The Maharajah Jungle Trek Tigers were active and so fun to watch! Full day at the Animal Kingdom because all of the animals were so active. That evening headed over to MGM and ate at the Sci-Fi Drive-in. I got a Lilo and Stitch Drink with a glow-in-the-dark ice cube - FANTASTIC...I still have the ice cube. Great ribs and service!!!!! We didn't have ressies and only waited 10 minutes. Then headed over to the Osborne Lights at 6 p.m. What a mess! There is no traffic flow. You are getting run over by stroller and people are pushing. It was beautiful but not so enjoyable. I hope that they fix the traffic flow.

Dec. 8 Epcot: All day! We did everything from Test Track to Maelstrom. It was awesome seeing the exterior of Mission Space completed. Test Track was functional all day but the wait was 60 min. so we got a fastpass. We ate Lunch at the Land. Their pulled pork sandwich isn't that bad! Shopped at Mouse Gear with my Candlelight Processional discount, then headed over to the CP line. What a line it was and 45 min before the show! Luckily, it went fast and we still got great seats. James Avery was a spectacular narrator! After that, it was over to the Rose and Crown for dinner. We were able to secure a seat outside to view Illuminations. Our server was the best! We ate then watched Illuminations (my favorite), finished dessert and headed out. What a spectacular evening!

Dec. 9 - Day we are leaving :( - Went over to the MK and MGM to get the last bit of ride riding urges we had left (as if they would ever go away) It was really raining so we did what we could before our shuttle at 2:55 p.m. No lines for any attraction.
Back to the airport - security was a breeze though our flight was delayed 45 minutes because of the rain!

That's about it! One of the dryest months of the year and we get the rain! No worries though. We still had a great time!
