Hey everyone,

Just got back from the world yesterday from a great but busy trip!

Day 1 (11/26):

Made the 7 hour drive from Fort Walton Beach to Orlando. We where to early for check in so my wife and I went shopping at Marketplace. We got our mouse ear santa hats for MVMCP. Got checked in at the Grand Floridian (awsome hotel) and went to our room to change. We had tickets for the 6:00pm showing of La Nouba. Gave my wife a surprise, we where going to take a taxi to downtown, imagine my wifes surprise when a stretch limo pulled up and the driver got out with a sign with her name on it. La Nouba was fantastic, Best show I have ever seen in my life. After the show we got back to the hotel in time to get a cup of hot chocolate and go out to the boat dock to watch the Magic Kingdom fire works.

Day 2 (11/27):

Got to the Magic Kingdom a little before 8:00am because we had 8:30am reservations for the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. We checked in at the tour garden, gave our lunch orders and received free refreshments while waiting for our guide. Our guide Geoff was great, a lot of knowledge about the park. We back doored Pirates and HM. We went back to the parade float storage building and saw the afternoon and nighttime floats up close. Stopped for lunch at Columbia Harbor House. During lunch we received our special Keys to the Kingdom Tour pin. After Lunch, we spent some more time backstage. We checked out the Jungle Cruise boat maintenance area and then went down to the utilidors. We finished the tour up a little before 1:00pm and spent the rest of the day in the park. The place was mobbed. We went on Mickey's Philharmagic. This is the best 3D show on the entire property. We had Turkey Legs for Thanksgiving dinner. We watched Spectromagic (it seemed different after seeing the floats up close, not in a bad way, just more of an appreciation for how they do things). We watched wishes (great fireworks show), rode Space 1 more time and went back to the hotel.

Day 3 11/28:

Spent the entire day at EPCOT. We did not ride mission space due to the fact I was just getting over a sinus infection and my equalibrium was off and did not want to chance getting sick:( . Spent the morning in Future World then moved onto World Showcase. We stopped in france to try and find Beauty and the Beast (Beast is my wifes favorite character). We found them and my wife got her picture taken with Beast, She was acting like a little kid, it was great. We stayed in World Showcase until mid afternoon then went back to future world. Another reason I did not want to risk getting sick on Mission Space is that we had 4:30pm reservations for Dive Quest at the Living Seas. For anyone who is a certified diver, this tour is well worth the time and money. We meet at guest relations and then escorted backstage by our guide mike. We signed the standard if anything happens during the dive, Disney is not responsible waiver. We changed into our wetsuits and booties and were escorted through sea base alpha. We collected alot of stares from people. Also once people relized we were going diving, they rushed for the veiwing area. Once we donned our tanks fins and regulators. We decended below the surface for a fantastic 40 min. dive. We saw the sharks, Grouper, Turtles, Rays, and many others. We posed for several pictures, and played around with the dry guests on the other side of the glass. I had two porkfish pecking on my back side for a time (like in finding nemo "he touched the butt"). All to soon the divemaster started banging on his tank telling us to start our accent to the surface. Once we got our rigs off we were led back through sea base alpha (while soaking wet) back to the locker rooms for a hot shower and a change into dry clothes. We got a certificate and mask strap as a gift and purchased the video of our group. After that was over we got something to eat. We planned on staying for illuminations, but we where so tired we decided to call it a night.

Day 4 11/29:

Started the day by having breakfast with Donald Duck and friends at Animal kingdom. Rode several rides and watched Tarzan Rocks. We then went to MGM for the afternoon and evening. We hit some attractions then had Fantasmic dinner package reservations at Hollywood and Vine. After dinner we poked around the shops for a time until it was time to head for the show. You get a ticket at dinner then check in at Oscar's and walk throught the back stage area to the Fantsmic theatre. Our seats where good, just right of center. It beats standing in line for 2 hous. The show was great.

Day 5 11/30:

Went ot magic kingdom for early opening. Rode rides unitl 12:00PM then did some shopping on main street. We then went back to the hotel for a 2:00pm reservation for the formal tea. My wife loved this. We went back to the park a little after 3:00pm and got in just in time to watch the afternoon parade. After the parade we took the train around the park and then headed to the hub to get our wrist bands for MVMCP. Once we got our wristbands, we hit some rides. Alot of people were leaving and everything was walk on. Did this until 6:00pm and then went and got our pictures taken. Then we hit some more rides and watched some of the special shows. We also enjoyed the free hot chocolate and cookies they gave out. We watched the 10:45pm parade. Watching the snow fall on main street during the parade was great.

Day 6 12/01::(

Drove home.

Tour check-in question

Thanks so much for the report! A quick quesiton re: KTTK tour check in. Where exactly is the tour garden? The CM who I talked to making the reservation was a bit quick and seemed to expect I should know exactly where to go. I have never done the tour and when I go to the MK, I am usually making a beeline past the entrance area to Main Street towards tomorrowand, or in the shopping herds and have never paid attention.

Thanks is advance, Scott

:sohappy: :xmas: :confused:

If you are standing directly in front of city hall (i.e. guest relations), the tour garden is directly to the left.
