Have you ever planed to buy something at WDW on your vacation, didn't,got home and wished you had. I had a list of things I wanted and got them all bar one. A Disney ear hat.I had a look them at that shop in MK which embroils your name on them but forgot to go back.God damn it.Now if that's not an excuse to go back,I don't know what is.So what's your biggest regret?

I didn't have the budget this trip, but I saw some of the places had a deal that if you bought the monorail train and one of the playsets, you got a price break. It was still expensive, but there was a package deal.

I hear you! I have made a rule for the family-if you see something you like within the first couple of days-buy it! It would never fail that I saw something I liked and thought to myself-"oh I will grab it later," and it would be gone or I couldn't find it again in another store or time would run out. With bigger items like pieces of art or the monorail sets its not always possible-I certainly do not want to lug those things around ;) however with hats, tees, key chains and small items it tends to work well!

Second the earhats. On the first trip, the kids wanted them, and not just the standard ones but the ones that light up, blink, y'know-the works. And oh yeah, they wanted their names in the fancy font, not the cheap writing. I was like "OMG, they cost HOW MUCH???" All I could think was that those things would hit the closet back home, never to be seen again, along with my $50. So we passed. They actually tried to "make" their own back home. I felt terrible. I never heard the end of it until we walked back into that store at MK and they got the earhats of their choosing, with the writing of their choosing. They wore those things ragged, I swear just to prove a point. Years later, they still have them. We laugh about it now..."remember when mom wouldn't let us have MICKEY EARS?!?!?-Some Disney fan she is!!!" I've leared to live in the moment and enjoy. Life is short.

AK scrap kit. I could shoot myself for not getting a bunch.

If you want it, buy it! If you think you might want more later, buy them! You never know when it will just disappear.

Ship it home. You can do this while you buy it. They have you fill out a mailing label right there.

Disney cuts a lot of corners and does many things poorly, but packing isn't one of them!! I've bought a lot of fragile crap over the years and shipped tons of stuff from the parks. Nothing ever broke.

Well, I didn't plan to buy it before I left, but on the last trip I saw a Wilderness Lodge coffee mug with the totem pole as a the handle on the first or second day there. I should have bought it, but didn't. Six days later, I'm on the plane home thinking I should have bought it when I saw it. Oh well.

There was this wicked Godzilla t-shirt in Epcot in the Japan pavilion that I wish I would have bought when we were down there in March of 2011. Probably not going to make it down there for a few years now, so here's hoping it's still there then. :)

Yes, it was about 15 years ago. There were these two canisters - winnie the pooh laying on the grass - for flour and sugar or coffee. It took about 15 phone calls but I tracked them down at the store and then bought them and had them shipped. After that - if I want it - i buy it.
