Just got my pics back from photo shop today ( 254 ) and while I was looking at them I came to realise that we missed some things that we had planned to do.Have you ever came back from your WDW vacation regretting that you didn't do that something or didn't buy that something. My boo boo this year was on our last day I purchased a print of Walt & Mickey with the castle in the background,I was in such a hurry as we were doing last minute shopping that it wasn't until we got home that I looked at the print and realised that it wasnt Cindys castle but the one in California,Sleeping Beauty I believe. What a plonker! So over to you Disney people. What trip plan regret do you have.

Missed you too! Was getting a tad worried. Glad all is better! :)
Thank you Boo to You Pooh!! (and Eeyore too!!) But yes... seriously considering Wishes 3D. Ohhhh forgot to tell ya, you inspired me. I am so gung ho in getting DH to fall in love w/Disney, after our WCC dinner, I booked (well Jessica from KK did it for me) a horse and carriage ride and decided next year, WL will be our choice in lieu of Poly :)

Just about every year, I regret not booking a longer stay. Im sure Im not alone on this one LOL. Due to DH work schedule, all we can do is 7 or so days. I do vow next year will be alot longer!!! ;)
Last year we had a nice 7 days of parks. This year we tried to go as inexpensive as possible, so we cut it down to 5 days of parks. I know when we get to the end of the trip I'm going to be kicking myself all the way back to Ohio for not staying longer. Oh well...There's always next year.

I regret not purchasing the dishware I had seen in November of last year. They are the plates, bowls and cups with Mickey hands, feet, shorts.... I thought "oh I'll get them in May when we drive so they will be safe in the car"... Fast forward to May. They have discontinued that specific pattern on the dishware :( I was CRUSHED!!! I have all the other things for the kitchen (spatulas, pizza cutter, ladels, whisk, dishtowels etc..) but now I couldn't get the dishware to match it. They have a new pattern, but it's just plain white with Mickey heads arounds the edge and a Mickey Mouse in the center. So not what I want. I always thought "oh there's next time" but now I realize that might not always be true!!

Funny you are talking about this in the "Trip Regrets" thread! I hope this doesn't become one of yours....ha ha ha! My husband was never a big fan of WDW UNTIL our first stay at the WL. He looks forward to every stay now and we both just love the laid back, get away from it all feeling of the WL. I hope you both fall in love with it as much as we did years ago.

There is always something we miss even when we plan. But, we know we'll be back again! At 1st my husband didn't want to go because TT would be down (it's his favorite), but I convinced him otherwise!;)

Funny you started this thread Hatter! I was just thinking about this yesterday because of Vitani and Crush talking ad nauseum (LOL) about the Fireworks Dessert Party and I didn't leave any wiggle room in my ADRs to even attempt a reservation. Major regret! I haven't even left for my vacation yet and I'm already regretting....LOL! Oh well, another must do for the next one! ;)
Seriously thinking of doing this Pooh

I'm thinking about adding this as a surprise if I can get ressies. Y'all have talked it up so much!

My major regret is not getting back in line to do Spaceship Earth one more time when DS #1 wanted to. I blame it on my subconscious boycotting the current narrator.

I always have little regrets w/each trip...i.e. maybe we should have had more down time, maybe we should have skipped a particular TS meal, etc. ---- but there's only regreg from last trip that's still haunting me.

Last trip the Tiki Room was scheduled to reopen on Aug 15th...well, our one and only day in MK was Aug 14th...so my fingers were crossed & then crossed again hoping for a soft opening. We headed that way after the park opened but the Tiki room was closed. DH doubled back midday while I was off doing BTMR and Splash w/DD6 and was informed that it was ready to open, they were just still training CMs. When he told me this, it crossed my mind that it might still open later that day if they could get people trained...I just never made it back to that area of the park. I don't remember exactly when I found out, but I found out the soft opening took place later that day. :(

I know - Tiki Room is probably not a huge deal to most, but our girls LOVE the music. Dance to it- sing to it- you name it...they love it. They were crushed that it wasn't open and still ask if they'll see the birdies next time we go. I tell them yes, but it would have been nice if I didn't get so caught up in other details and made the time to double back and check. So there...there's my regret from last trip...not checking up on the Tiki Room soft opening.

Oh, I really hope you are able to get a reservation! What a wonderful suprise! It looks fabulous.

I get your Spaceship Earth regret! It is one of my sentimental favorites and I love it to be my first and last ride at EPCOT. By the time we are leaving EPCOT for the evening, DH has usually had "enough" and is ready to go and I'm trying to eek out one more ride on Spaceship Earth (probably until the next year.) The naration change bothered me ALOT at first but I like the new music so much that I've gotten over it.

I don't have any regrets....just a wish list for the next trip!!

I do wish that I could slow down time while in WDW and really make myself enjoy the moment more than I do. I tend to get too focused on what we are doing next and making sure everyone is having a good time. This trip I vow to slow down and savor each experience and each moment.

Since people were discussing Dumbo earlier and Alison1975 wants to make sure to ride it this year, I thought I would share a precious Dumbo story...One of my best friends has triplets and two years ago she and her husband took them to WDW at age 5 for their trip. My friend is a organizational fanatic and everything is color-coded, planned, menus done a week at a time....uber organized. She had planned her WDW trip to the second...even listing the rides in the order they would done. Well, when they hit MK her children saw Dumbo and wanted to ride it...nope, It's a Small World was first. Later that evening when it was time for the parade, one of her boys was begging to ride Dumbo again. It was parade time and my friend had a plan for where they were going to stake out their parade spot...however, she gave in and they rode Dumbo. As they were lifted in the air, the fireworks began exploding over their head and her 5 year old son looked at her and said "Momma, this isn't something you see everyday!" That is her favorite trip memory!

So, NO REGRETS!!
