Trip in under 30 days

Hi all -

Thinking about doing something I'm not sure if I should consider. I need to take a long weekend the end of September and looking at WDW. Which means I have NOTHING booked or reserved. I haven't done this since FastPass+ and the Dining has gotten so popular. Am I crazy?

Thoughts are to try to keep it simple (which is always a challenge for me), but would I get anywhere near Pandora, Frozen or even the newer fantasyland rides? Thought about doing eat to the beat one night and MNSSHP another - then deciding on the Star Wars night show at HS or Rivers of Light at AK for the 3rd night. Might be able to get one more night show but it would be iffy. This would be September which used to be light but it appears many of the hotels are starting to book up.

It is totally possible. We just book a long weekend for the end of Sept, two days ago. We got a hotel on the cheap at POP and got fastpasses for peter pan and space mountain. if you want to go, go. its not that hard.

I've done it before. With some strategic planning, it's not that difficult.

Just play with the app while you are there. I was able to get flight of passage and frozen fast passes as fourth fast passes the day of.

I think the main issue will be getting a room. It is very busy for the F&WF so I would book now. Dining won't be an issue, just eat at any place that is not the "most popular". I never make dining reservations for my fall trip and always find a place to eat.
