Looking to go on a solo trip in Sept. of this year. I was looking at October (the last week to be exact) but decided to move up a month to get better deals.

They have 5 park days for the price of 3 and I am looking at Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club or Yacht. They are relatively around the same price so which would you choose and why? Favorite resorts are Contemporary and Poly for the monorail convenience and fireworks but those are not available with the ticket deal.

I have stayed at WL but it has been over 20 years ago. Like to visit there because it is so pretty. Never stayed at Yacht or Beach and that would be nice for the Epcot area. I generally do not use the pools so that is not a big draw.

I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them. The Yacht and Beach Clubs do offer the ability to walk to either Epcot or HS, and also catch the Skyliner from Epcot to HS.

We love Beach Club. It is a beautiful hotel and so close to two parks. It is not the same kind of aesthetic as WL, but you cannot beat the convenience of the location. You cannot go wrong with Yacht, either.

Changed my trip to end of October. Sept. will just be too HOT for me, especially with the mask requirements.

Downgraded my resort to Pop but saved a ton of $$$.

October is the 50th celebration, isn't it? Are you prepared for the crowds?
I don't like the idea of crowds - hoping it won't be too bad. Is it only MK that is having the celebration? There are plenty of rooms available right now if that is any indication of crowds. You would think the resort reservations would be filling up.

I wouldn't trust the availability of rooms now for October as a sign of low crowds. I think more and more people will decide to travel this year, and Disney has become very popular in October in general. With no fastpasses,180 day booking of dining, and the unpredictability of the pandemic, I don't think people are planning as far in advance as they used to.
