Treehouse Villas

How far are the Treehouse Villas from the main part of the resort and how long will it take to travel to the parks if we are driving our car?

I really like the idea that all groups of our travel party can have their own bedroom and that we'll have a washer and dryer. I'm just wondering if the distance to everything will wear on us during our 9 day trip. Last trip we stayed at POFQ and drove pretty much everywhere and it wasn't bad.

There is a bus to and from SSR main areas.

It's a few minutes to the resort (like, 2).

It's a few minutes to the parks (like, 5 or 6).

If you have a car, it's just as convenient or more as any other resort. If you don't have a car, it might take you a minute more.

If you're driving yourself and you're used to the drive times and distances from French Quarter, then you'll be fine. The Treehouses are just down around the corner from POFQ, maybe add 2 minutes to each of the drives except Downtown Disney, which is a shorter drive.

(In fact, the closest Treehouse building and the closest POFQ building are only about 900 feet apart if you drew a straight line.)

we just stayed there and LOVED IT! just plan to give yourself enough time to get from the internal bus to the other buses you need at the bus stop in SSR. we thought all in all, it was quicker than any other resort we stayed at and we were the ONLY ones who ever got on the internal bus. was not bad at all!
