This may be out of place, but does anyone know who manufactured the leaves for the Tree of Life at AK? Or perhaps point me in the right direction to someone who may know? Thanks much.

I am not sure who created the leaves, but what I can tell you is that they are made out of KYNAR. "Kynar is Polyvinlidine Flouride which is a specialty plastic material in the fluoropolymer family; it is used generally in applications requiring the highest purity, strength, and resistance to solvents, acids, bases and heat and low smoke generation during a fire event". (Thanks Wikipedia) :-)

Yeah unfortunately thats all I found out about them as well...explains why they have held up so well over the past 12 years. Im working on a similar tree (smaller though!) and I want to get the best product for the outdoors and the Florida sun/hurricane winds...Ill find it eventually, Im sure it will be a journey though. Thanks for your help.

Why do you have a leaf? Are you a leaf picker? :lookaroun
Really windy day and being at the right place at the right time. I am not sure how it fell but we were walking through the line for ITTBAB and I just saw it sitting there. I grabbed it and for a brief moment thought about turning it in.

Good answer.

(I doubt that I would have turned it in either.)
