As luck would have it, we'll be in WDW around th etime when Treasure Planet opens...anyone know if the theaters at PI have IMAX or large formats. I know that they have digital.

They have stadium theaters but no IMAX. There is one in a Muvico located in Orlando Point that has an IMAX but they will probably still be showing IMAX movies in it when this one comes out.

Yeah, I can't believe Disney hasn't yet installed some large-format theater or gotten an outside company to do it at DD.

According to the Treasure Planet website, the closest Large-Format screen will be in Tampa.

I looked this up after reading the article in the Winter 2002 issue of Disney Magazine: Five reasons to see the film in IMAX and large-format theaters.

Convincing article, but it's a shame they won't have it anywhere close to WDW.
