Traveling with a Baby

We made sure we had bubbles and little finger snacks on hand while waiting in line! We've taken our kids when they were 15 mo and (our 1st son) and 4 weeks (2nd son). We lucked out in that our kids would nap anywhere. They were also happy to go to "bed" in their strollers so we would just pack their pj's and change them into the pj's after dinner. It was nice being able to stay late in the parks when cleared out after the 1st set of fireworks. And grandparents are HUGE! You'll definitely have a great time. Have you thought of doing the MNSSHP? You're oldest might really love trick-or-treating in the park (especially before Halloween) :)

I'm so jealous of the 'going to bed' in their strollers! My six year old never would have done that as a toddler. Maybe I can train my baby before our trip :)
We are not going to do the Halloween party. My husband and I went several years ago before we had kids and were really disappointed. It was insanely crowded and chaotic and the CMs were clueless. We felt it was a waste of money. Tickets are of course, priced higher now and we would need 3, 5 if my parents went, so that would be one crazy expensive night. Not worth it just yet. Maybe some day when the kids are older and can make it til midnight it can be a special, once in a lifetime treat for them :)

biggest problem we had with a 17 month old was trying to go back to resort for nap. he fell asleep on the way slept 15 minutes on the way but would not go back to sleep. just screamed and I mean screamed you could hear him at the other end of hall with door closed. and this was a child who would normally not sleep in stroller but at Disney he did. we are headed back to Disney in August as that is only time we can get everyone off and get oldest grandson. besides their parents wewill have 6 grandkids ages 4 months to 15 years old.
