Travel time

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum my appologies if I am not. :)

We are staying at the WL, how much travel time would you give for getting to the Castle for 8:35am CRT reservation? Is there a line for this seeing as the park won't acutally be open at that time?

Also wondering for your suggestion on travel time from WL to Chef Mickey's and to Ohana breakfast buffets (both are at 8:30am) we did rent a car if that helps answer the question :)

So much of this also depends on how the buses and boats are running that morning. When we stayed at WL, it was so cold that the boats weren't running until 8am...so we had to rely on bus service for everything early.

'Ohana may actually be the easiest one. You can pretty much walk up to any of the early morning buses approaching WL and see if they'll take you to the Poly. We've never had any of them tell us no. If the boats are running early, you can take the boat directly to the Contemporary for Chef Mickey's. You can do the same with the MK boat for CRT if they're also running early.

All in all, we've had a few bad bus experiences, so I get nervous and often allow as much as 60 min to get from point A to point B. In most cases, we wind up being VERY early...but for those few times where we had 25-45 min waits for a bus (so add that wait on to avg travel time)...it was an omen that I was so nervous and planned the extra time.

@firecatgirl the buses from WL to MK are frequent and very very quiet. We used them a lot and were often the only passengers. The boat is scenic and relaxing but at times when you just need to be at MK or WL quickly they were brilliant.

Yes, definitely the bus. It is much faster and like disney magic 06 said, we too have often been the only ones on the bus. It takes less than 5 minutes.
