Travel documents

I'm 27 days out from our first WDW holiday vacation and just a little excited! We've already gotten our ME yellow tags, but I was just wondering when I can expect to see the rest of our travel docs, like plane tickets. Thanks!

We booked directly through Disney although we did not do ME or air travel and we got our packet with luggage tags and vouchers 28 days before our trip. If you used a travel agent it goes to him/her first.

It seems to vary. This year ours came 19 days out, last year 20 days, and 2009 it was 15 days. Wouldn't worry at this point.

Booked my first trip to DW this time with AAA and have had nothing but problems with the agent never returning calls. We are 16 days out and he only has some of our documents (those for my sister's family) and my familiys' bus tags. We had to pick those up from AAA as they were holding them but he is stating that Disney only promises to send the documents by two weeks out from your arrival date.

I always though it was that the documents should arrive no later than two weeks out....

The last three time we went were I booked everything we recieve all the document 3 to 4 weeks before our arrival date.

Paper plane tickets are almost extinct. Most likely you will get a "record locator" so you can sign in to your airlines web site to check in etc. In many cases this is in your travel documents, if not, call Disney or your travel agent and ask for it.

Yep, no documents come until its time to print your boarding pass. Some airlines allow you to board with a scan of your electronic boarding pass on your mobile device. I have not seen that done much, but I generally only fly SWA and they are still paper boarding.

Not to hijack this thread, but this past September we flew United and stayed at CSR. When we received our magical express return information on our last day, they included our boarding passes-automatically checking us in for the flight. Never saw that before.
