That "scoop and go" is commonly refered to as the Disney scoop.mellie882 said:I have done it. When waiting for Spectromagic and sitting on the curb, my friends and I got bored. We placed a soda bottle in the middle of the road to see whether it would be kicked around by people or picked up. It was kicked for a while, and then picked up by a Tomorrowland manager in a nice "scoop and go" manuver.
What you have done is to violate the Florida litter law (403.413 Florida Litter Law) which applies on both public and private property. You should be ashamed of yourself and your family! Ignorance of the law is no excuse.MagicalMonorail said:Yes, I know what you're thinking. What on Earth is this thread about. Well I am going to tell you. On my family's last trip to WDW, we did something we call "Trash Watching." At the MGM Studios, we would drop a piece of trash on the ground, then watch and wait until someone picked it up. The dropping would be carried out casually by a family member, while the rest of the family watched from a bench. The Custodial CM's were awesome. The longest the trash stayed on the ground was, (yes we timed), 4 mins. 31 secs. We realized that only in Disney would you see such cleanliness. Way to go Disney for keeping the parks cleans. So has anyone else done "Trash Watching?" It's a great thing to do when you're tired from a day in the park!
P.S.- Please keep in mind that we did realize that a CM would eventually pick the trash up, and we would not purposefully trash WDW.
