Transportation to Sport Complex

Been reading around here for awile. Looks like a lot of WDW know-how on this forum.
We are planning a 5 Day trip the first of August. My wife, me, our grandson(13),my sister and her granddaughter(18).
Wife and I have been numerous times so we are the tour guides. All the ADR's are made, air flight reservations are made.
Grandson has his heart set on seeing the sports complex.Is there any transportion to the complex and back.The girls have an afternoon shopping trip planned to Downtown and I thought it would be a good time to go if I can figure out a way.

There used to be transport from DHS, but it sounds like that has changed according to this link.

When I was there in March, you needed to take a Disney bus to one of the Value Resorts (I suggest Pop Century), then transfer to the Wide World of Sports Bus. You can catch a Value Resort Bus at either of the DTD stops or any of the Parks. A Taxi is always an option.
