Transportation to Mini Golf

Included in this year's book of discounts were coupons for mini golf. In years past we have skipped these out of park activities to spend more time in the park, but this year we have an extra day where we may want to do some different things. We're going to be at the AKL and I have no idea how we would get there via Disney transportation. Any advice would be appreciated!

To get to Winter/Summerland, just catch a bus to Blizzard Beach. W/S is located just west of the BB entrance, just outside the park. Easy to find.

Fantasia is a bit tougher. Bus to Swan/Dolphin and then walk gives you the shortest walk, but requires two buses from AKL.

Be aware that those coupons are only good up until 4 PM. :)

The walk from Swan & Dolphin to Fantasia Gardens is pretty quick. We boated from HS. It depends where you start from I suppose. If you were, say at Downtown Disney, you could bus straight to Swan & Dolphin. Otherwise, as stated above, you'll have to combo the buses.

Perhaps we'll go use our DisneyQuest coupon followed by a bus from DTD to Swan & Dolphin. That would work. That would be a good way to fill the morning. Thank you everyone for the advice!

That sounds like a good plan! You could also catch a bus to Yacht/Beach/Boardwalk as they are all very close to each other if they come first or you just miss Swan&Dolphin. HAVE FUN! Disney mini golf is the bomb!

This may be even more brilliant. The bf wants to get pizza from boardwalk at some point in our trip (he likes the idea that we can get a whole pie for a couple of QS credit). We would have to take 2 buses from AKL to get to Swan & Dolphin, but then go mini golfing at 10 am, walk to boardwalk and have pizza for lunch, then bus to DTD for Quest. We have dinner at Epcot that night, so eventually we'll end up there, possibly via the Magic Kingdom so I can get more cards and then monorail! I love planning!

When leaving AKL, I'd take either the Studios or AK bus, whichever shows up first.

At AK you can switch to a bus to the Swan (which is closer to Fantasia Gardens than the Dolphin). Getting off the bus, rather than going into the hotel follow the sidewalk back out toward the road where the bus entered from. Turn right at the road and follow the sidewalk to the crosswalk that'll bring you over to FG.

At the Studios, hop on the boat and get off at the Swan. Go past the Swan's pool, and the walkway will bring you to the same crosswalk as above.

Alternately, if you want some exercise, you can also walk from the Studios. But rather than go all the way to the Swan and Dolphin, immediately after you cross under the roadway take the pathway up and to your right to cross up and over the waterway. The sidewalk continues along Buena Vista Blvd and then turns in on Epcot Resorts Blvd. That'll bring you up to the afore-mentioned crosswalk over to FG.
