Transportation to Downtown Disney

Hey everyone,

We are staying offsite and would like to know how late transportation from the ticket centre or any of the resorts runs. We have, in the past, taken the monorail to the resorts, then bussed from there. This year we are planning on staying at the parks later and trying to go as late as possible via bus to Downtown. Any ideas?

Bus to downtown shouldn't be a problem. I believe the last one there is 11:00pm, but later for Pleasure Island as PI closes at 2:00am. We've "shutdown" the island before and caught the bus back to our resort, no problem.

However, I didn't quite understand if you're intention is to go from Downtown to Transportation Center to get home, as I believe the TC closes earlier. If you're in one of the hotels across from Downtown, no big deal. Obviously, if you're really off property and have a shuttle available, this may become a bigger issue. I've had great advice here due to the wide audience, so perhaps you could clarify just a bit?

Anyone have a transportation schedule to answer this? (Do they still print those anymore?!?) :veryconfu

Thanks for the reply. Just to clarify. We are trying to get TO Downtown Disney from the ticket centre or a resort. We are staying offsite and will cab to our hotel at closing. The main issue is getting there as late as possible.

If you are driving to the TTC you would be better to drive to DTD. Not only will this be quicker but you will run into a problem getting back to the TTC after MK closes. Due to the route the busses have to take to DTD it takes an inordinate amount of time to get there form pretty much ever resort on property. If you are using transportation provided by your off site hotel then you will need to go from MK to pretty much any Disney resort and then go to DTD. SS or POFQ would by my choice due to quick water transportation to DTD. There is no direct transportation from any of the four parks to or from DTD and if I am not mistaken this also includes the TTC. Your hotel might have transportation from DTD back to your hotel. If not your last choice is a cab. Depending on how far away your resort is a cab should cost you less than $20.

You can't get to DTD from the ticket center. You'll have to catch a bus to DTD from the resorts. I do not know how late they run.. although I would guess the last ones to marketplace runs at around 12am, and pleasure island 2am (http://www.wdwinfo.com/transportation/bus_schedules.htm)
