Transportation to BoardWalk from Wilderness Lodge

If I viewed dining at the boardwalk the same as going to a Pizza Hut I would just get something to eat at the food court at wilderness lodge. Or order Pizza Hut to the wilderness lodge.
But you said the transportation 'adds to the experience'. So if you are in it for the experience, you should be doing that each time you eat, no?

Stop being silly. Get there efficiently.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say to me? Feel free to take an Uber if you prefer, I’ve taken an Uber rather than transferring bus to bus at Disney Springs before.

I kinda like the friendship boats and arriving at the boardwalk by boat is fun to me so I would prefer tha method.

Better than a Pizza Hut, but I’ve taken the Chicago water taxi to dinner when I could have taken an Uber as well.

I'm saying to you that the method by which you travel to your food does not 'add to the experience'. You're just being silly to think that it does.

Who are you to tell people their opinions on experiences are wrong?

I personally would take a car for a morning reservation, but if more relaxed about time, I do enjoy the walk to BW from DHS.

Stop telling people they are wrong simply because you disagree. Not all feel comfortable doing ride shares too.

Because its wrong. You are falsely equating something with being an 'experience' when its just more steps.

Its simple: If you have the same meal (or whatever) but walked through Epcot to get to it instead of doing his little 'I gotta take four forms of transport and three forms of ID' craziness, does the meal somehow taste like you didn't 'earn' it? Of course not. Because its silly.

And he talked about taking the bus. Thats the same as taking a ride share.

If you don't want to pay the $10 for Uber, say you don't want to spend the $10. Don't make up some convoluted malarkey about how it 'adds to the experience' to make a quick trip take an additional 60-90 minutes.

Again your opinion is not shared by all. Enjoy your day.

Arriving by boat rather than car or bus makes the entire EXPERIENCE of being on vacation, traveling to Boardwalk, eating there, walking around and whatever else, more fun for some people.

Tonight we grabbed an Uber to dinner and it was good.

Tonight we took a bus to DHS, jumped on the Friendship boat for a fun boat ride to dinner. Dinner was good.

Second example sounds more enjoyable to me. :)

I'll make it even more convoluted. We'd take bus to DHS, then jump on Skyliner to Epcot, then walk over to dinner. Obviously for breakfast you can't since I don't think Skyliner to Epcot running that early.

Listen... if you want to talk convoluted routes I once took the train from Disney World to Disneyland by way of Canada. And yes my dinner at the Blue Bayou was all the better for It! :p

For me... arriving at the boardwalk by friendship boat is more of a fun experience than an Uber. But again, that’s just me!

Thats a different argument altogether. You originally said that taking the boats adds to the MEAL. That isn't true.

Saying taking the boat is an experience and saying it adds to the actual meal are two different things.

It adds to the experience of having a meal at the boardwalk

I did not... I said it adds to the experience of having a meal at the boardwalk. And it would for me. The overall experience includes my arrival at said resort. But again that’s just me! Uber if you like!

So its an opinion that your food tastes the same no matter how you get there? What multiverse are you from?
The experience doesn't always start and end with the food in your mouth. Getting there is half the fun - spoken by the muppets. You're bordering on being flat out rude. Your opinions are yours. Mine are mine. So please stop with the insults.

Maybe people want to get their exercise in before they sit down to a "big" meal?? If it were me, and I had the time, I'd walk over, have my big meal, and Uber back, etc 😊
