Transportation from Riverside to Beach Club

We have dining reservations at the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club resort at 8:00am. I was wondering what would be the best way to get there from Port Orleans Riverside? Thanks for all the info.

If you have a car that will be the easiest way. If you are using Disney transportation go to the front desk of your resort the day before and they will arrange complementary transportation for you. Trying to get there using standard resort transportation by 8:00 AM will be almost impossible as it simply does not start running early enough.

We don't have a car so I was thinking we would probably just get a cab.

If you don't have a car the only way to get there is by cab. Disney recommends allowing 90 minutes to travel from resort to resort since you have to transfer through a park. And there is no way you will be allowed to cut through Epcot to get to the Beach Club. I would plan on taking a taxi, the fare shouldn't cost you much more than $20 if it even costs you that much since I think it only takes about 10 minutes to get to Epcot from Port Orleans by bus anyway.

This is not correct. Disney will provide transportation from resort to resort for character breakfasts that occur before regular resort transportation can get you there.

All this time I was thinking we got special treatment! :ROFLOL: I was afraid to post about it because I didn't want anyone to get in trouble! We had Breakfast ADRs at Whispering Canyon and we were staying at AKV. I asked the concierge the night before what the quickest/easiest way to get there was for an 8am ADR. Because the buses would not be running at 7am to get us there in enough time, they told us to catch a cab in the morning and they would comp our account the approx amount of the ride. Little did we know until we checked out that they comped us for a round trip! We only needed it one way. However, it worked out because we were running late for our ADR at HDDR and had to catch a cab midway through our transfer - we would never have made it in time without the taxi ride. I LOVE that kind of service :king:.

Normally it would have been a small bus or van that would hit a few resorts that would have picked you up. I guess in your case the cab was the best option for them as WCC is one of the super popular character breakfasts.
