Transportation from FW to WL

I know this has been discussed in some previous posts, but I didn’t know if anything has changed. Is there still a bus running from FW to WL, and if so is the bus stop up near Pioneer Hall? I realize the resort to resort boats aren’t running yet.

Yes, the internal bus from FW to WL picks up and drops off at the Settlement Depot, the bus stop for Pioneer Hall.

Yes, it runs in morning. Frequently

No set schedule but the bus runs the same as a normal bus, approx every 20 minutes starting around 7:30 am.

Can FW guests use the WL pool? Is that why there is a resort to resort shuttle?

Now I wish that the walking trail from FW to WL was open. But with the postponed/canceled construction project along that route, I doubt we’ll be able to use it again.

I totally agree! We loved the walking trail, it was so convenient and relaxing even on a bike.

The WL pools are for WL resort guests only.

The shuttle enables guests at both resorts to have more dining options and ease to Hoop Dee Doo.

I totally agree! We loved the walking trail, it was so convenient and relaxing even on a bike.

We loved the trail too. We used to bike over to WL from FW in about 15 minutes.

We’re taking our E-bikes this trip and it will be fun biking around the campground. We never did the WL trail. We’re bummed because it sounds like a nice ride.

Maybe someday it will reopen, but only if current 'management' gets their act together and either completes the resort that they stopped constructing or clears the area to permit the trail to reopen. But that may be too much to expect out of the current management.
