Trader Sam's Still Busy?

Hello! Heading to Disney World next January (22nd-29th). We really want to check out Trader Sam's for a drink and quick bite and were thinking of going on Monday night because MK closes at 6. We will have our 2 1/2 year old in tow, and while we lug him everywhere here in NYC (including restaurants and some bars), I was hoping to go during a "not-so-packed" time. Think a Monday in January around 6 or 7 will be crazy busy? Also, when is the cut-off time for kiddos? Thanks for any help/advise/fortune-telling!

We were there last week(8/10) walked in with a group of 12 at 5:45 and all got seats in the corner. We also had 2, 3 year old with us and they loved the lights and wait staff. Good drinks before our O'hana reservation.

Quite frankly, I don't think it gets the crowds that it should. I have been to the California version, and WDW's. Last summer on a crowded WDW night, walked right in and had our choice of seats. Difference in FL vs. CA is that at DL it is located on the grounds of the DL Hotel, which is a short walk from Downtown Disney; they also get the conventioneers coming in large and rowdy groups!. In Florida it is in the Poly, so you really have to go out of your way to get there. That being said, I liked that in FL we could walk right in and get a table.
