I have just spoken to Disney Dining Reservations to reserve a place for these meals in July and was told officially that there is no Playhouse disney meal or character meal, or Toy Story and there was no plans to have any at this venue for the foressable future, although Disney are apparently always open to suggestions from Guests:( ...!!!

I am as disappointed as everyone else as I have a 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 on their first visit to disney in July who will be very disappointed.... nevermind there is always Al's Toy Barn!!!:)

These people are the last to find out anything....just because they don't have it in their computer system doesn't mean it's not happening.

Well...they're not "in the know".

Uh, Daisy before you go saying it's not happening and making a post like this, remember who you were talking to. Obviously there's nothing in the reservation center for the breakfasts because they make reservations for dining places that are ALREADY OPEN. Not ones that might happen or are still at the drawing board. As of right now it's all still up in the air but that doesn't mean that it's not going to happen. So next time make sure you get the right facts.

Besides, they aren't exactly "allowed" to give away secrets. Even if the rep did "know", if her call was being recorded, she could get in real trouble if she gave away confidential/unannounced information before it was released. They could have even had a meeting before today's shift telling reps to tell callers that there was nothing planned... and that's the company line for now..

ps, love the prince john!

I talked to them a month or so ago, The lady denied any such meal but said to keep checking back in a week or so because they are constantly adding new things. She would not say that there was or wasnt such a meal but did hint about it. It also didnt take alot of asking for her to know exactly what I was talking about. One thing I figured was that its called Breakfast and beyond, So I made a reservation for dinner. That way if they add the characters I already have a ressy.

your post made me laugh. what's so creepy about woody and jessie? i know a lot of little kids who would love to have breakfast with them. personally, i've seen some alices in wonderland who were way creepier. and if i were a little kid and saw governorn ratcliffe, i'd ______ my pants.

i'm sorry that they frighten you. :lookaroun

Don't believe em ;)

They just sell the place, they have nothing to do with what characters appear at which meal.

WDWKat was right though. The meal hasn't been announced, so even if it were on the drawing table, they can't save spots for reservations for something that doesn't "exist" yet. However, you could do one of two things. Make a reservation for the restaurant and hope that there will be a character meal there when you are (and if there isn't and you decide not to go, make sure to cancel it.) or wait until the do announce it and then make your reservations.

However, as it was mentioned, it's not official yet, it's still a rumor, but that doesn't mean that it won't ever become official.

last villains meal got so many complaints it went bye

nobody said it had to be a villians meal.. just random characters would be cool... one day robin hood, the next the white rabbit, and jojo circus the next day....
