Toy story mania

Just found out that Toy Story Mania will be closed the week of June 12th during our trip. I just gave up on Hollywood altogether and switched to Epcot with limited FP+ availability. I do not understand why they have that many rides in the one ride only tier. Magic Kingdom doesn’t do that. It’s just weird.

I feel like there should be some sort of compensation for people who planned their vacation on those days. Not a whole lot, but a little extra something would be nice considering vacations are planned months in advance, and Toy Story Mania is a huge crowd killer for a park with few rides already. I'm sticking out my Hollywood Studios day. It just doesn't feel like a real Disney vacation without Fantasmic, and I don't have Park Hopper.

Our kids are too young for TOT and RRC so there just wasn’t anything left. I hate it because we had dessert reservations for Fantasmic. Our oldest 6yo is a stem fanatic so I think we’ll be a lot happier at Epcot anyway. We might get lucky and see a bit of the fireworks from AOA

I agree, but I think its because Epcot has so few rides, and so they don't want everyone picking Test Track, Frozen and Soarin.
