Nothing about Toy Story Land really holds my interest. It's bright and colorful, but also looks rather cheaply done....especially damning when you consider that one of the land's signature rides is a ride that's 10 years old, and just had a new entrance built.

Potter IS the draw for Universal. TSL is just a part of DHS and will not be the main draw. This is not a fair comparison. So until SWL opens...If you must....try Potter vs Fantasyland

I would not compare the two.

TSL, for whatever reason, is not an immersive area. I don’t get the logic.

Pandora is a better example. I would compare the two.

It’s great that there is a theme park war going on. It pushes everyone to do better.
I’ve not been to TSL yet but why is it not an immersive area? Why would the Imagineers not have made it an immersive land? I thought there was the whole “being shrunk to the size of a toy in Andy's backyard?

It seems to be immersive, but it's been way downgraded since announcement. Slinky Dog Dash would have gotten a possibly interactive al's toy barn (I'm assuming a toy version of the barn, not the real deal) queue, for example.

Pandora is Joe Rohde looking at Hogsmeade and saying "that's cute....watch this". Pandora is themed in 3D and unlike anything else anywhere.

Pretty sure Pandora was Joe Rohde babysitting James Cameron playing imagineer after Iger made massive park-changing decisions without his input.

I was at TSL yesterday for the soft opening (you know, the one Disney formally announced there wouldn’t be), and let me tell you it is plain awful. Feels like you are at any six flags park. Don’t even waste your time.

Pandora is themed in 3D

"So people say to me that Avatar wasn't supposed to be about the plot. It was about the experience of being on Pandora. Oh, is that what all this 3D s*** is going to turn movies into, like theme park rides? I probably wouldn't b**** about the plot to The Star Trek Experience or Jurassic Park: The Ride, because that's like a RIDE. Like you know, Pirates of the Caribbean. S***, that's been in 3D for forty years!"
