That is very interesting! Does anyone have an overhead map circling the designated expansion pads? I don't think I've ever seen them

I think the Bantha ride thing was going in they yellow area. It's not a ton of space.

If anything I think they should expand towards Starcruiser and demo'ing it or absorb it into Galaxy's Edge for multiple use cases: restaurant, lounges, day time experiences and some of the areas they could utlilize as queue space for another E ticket or two, like they did with UoE for CR.

Possible they could axe the M&G and squeeze something like Jessie's critter carousel, or a dumbo clone in one of these 2 spots... but it would be tight and only something DLR seems to do View attachment 884499
I think that first spot is the entrance to Rodeo Roundup BBQ. TSL seems like the most logical place thematically to add another flat ride as it's supposed to be themed to a child-made amusement park in Andy's Backyard, right, with the rollercoaster, midway games and pre-made pizza planet toy that looked like a ride

And a free walking Bantha ride doesn't take up a lot of space?

The Bantha ride was a concept that was DOA. It combined a slow, lumbering, oversized ride vehicle with ultra low capacity and unproven people-carrying mechanical 'walking'. If it were ever to have been greenlit, ops would have strangled it in its sleep.

The idea of something that took you around the area makes sense - feels like some parts of the land, especially in the resistance forest area, are underused .... But the specifics of that attraction would not have worked well

Just curious if you have children or not. My kids love that land.
I do not but "I felt there should be something built, Some kind of amusement enterprise built where the parents and the children could have fun together"- The literal founder of the Company that bears his name while sharing none of his vision.

I am not TSL's biggest fan, but a park where the entire family can have fun together does not necessarily equate to every single ride or attraction being built for all audiences to enjoy equally.

Maybe, but I don't think it's a wise decision to build entire lands that only appeals to one demographic. Especially when they look as cheap and hideous as TSL.

After this they just need a proper meet and greet location for the characters and then the land would be mostly OK
They could pretty easily reconfigure the Toy Story Mania queue to give the characters at least a shaded area to greet guests. The outdoor portion of that queue is never fully utilized. One of the two shaded sections could be repurposed.
