Stalling doesn't matter, though, does it? Everyone in the line still remains in the same order. The only way it could be a problem is if the gap created extends all the way forward to the FP merge, letting through more FP-ers in front of you than would have been otherwise. (Or, more dramatically and unlikely, if the gap grew all the way up to load and some empty vehicles departed.) As long as those who play on the in-line stuff move up fairly regularly, there is no change to your wait time.They do, but an unfortunate side-effect is that it often stalls the line as people will stop to play (and parents aren't always great at shuffling their kids along).
Edit: To be fair, you didn't mention wait time, only "stalling." So, yeah, it is nice to be moving continuously, rather than being stuck, even if wait time is the same.
More edits: If my kid is playing, I just let people behind me go by if they want to.
