Actually, all of that was announced like 2 months ago. It's interesting, though, that the link does not make any mention about the film being released in 3D, nor the first two films being re-released in 3D months ahead of #3.

Accordring to Richard Delgado, a Pixar animator the premise of this information is incorrect. This information, according to the original article that was posted was a pitch by THQ to make the Toy Story 3 video game. Disney declined this pitch and went with another unannounced story for the video game.

Richard said that this particular premise was one that was being bounced around at Disney before the Pixar/Disney merger.

As a side note: I could make a wiki about Toy Story 3 and have it be totally false or I could edit this one and make it completely false. You should never trust any information on wikipedia unless you know that it is completely correct. You never know when someones just trying to screw around.
