This sounds like it has a great story line!!!!

Oh no another thing for people to get upset at and say it destroys a classic......
“You will recognize the poster style as that of turn-of-the-century magicians such as Houdini,” Jon Georges, WDI director/senior show producer said. “But these posters carry Mickey’s magical touch that can bring them to life and interact with you as you wait.”

Sounds like this is going to be done incredibly well. I am excited to see how it will tun out and might have to wait in line again to meet the mouse on a future visit.

I apologize if this has been asked or discussed before, but this meet and greet isn't going to feature the "talking" Mickey they experimented with at Disneyland awhile back, is it?

The whole storyline just reminded me of that YouTube video that was out there where Mickey's somewhere that looks like a dressing room and a CM makes mention of it being time to go because "Director Pete" is ready for him. Just curious.

This is the first thing I thought of as well. I wonder if they are going to try that!

Boomer Sooner!! Nice to see another OU fan.

On another note, they mentioned that when you enter, you'll either get in line to see Mickey or in line to see the princesses. So is this going to be there temp home until SWSA is gutted and redone to become their humble abode? I wonder what will be there once the princesses move out... More Mickeys?

Yes it is just temp and I would guess the once the ladies move that space can be used for who ever they want, kinda what the old tent used to do before the Princess/Tink take over!

Sounds great and all and Im sure it will look fantastic, but as for the posters/pictures that interact and come to life in the queue, are they not copying the harry potter queue just a bit?

Average park goers have no idea who Oswald is, so I doubt he'll be a featured Meet and Greet.

If anything, he'll eventually show up in parades and stuff, and smaller things like they do with Clarabella Cow and Horace.

But wasn't there a rumor of an Oswald character and/or M&G coming!?!

Anyways, I like the sounds of this new M&G and I'm looking forward to seeing it in person come May.

I wonder who they'll replace the Princesses with once they get their new home...?

Love the idea of embracing old school Mickey with Clarabell, Horace, Pete and maybe even a nod to Oswald. I really think this would be the place for it, plus it does seem sort of right that Oswald gets some sort of Home in Disney since it really did all start with a rabbit.

Epic Mickey and recent Oswald merchandise have sold very well; so, it would appear that Oswald is becoming more popular. One insider here also stated that an Oswald M&G is will likely appear in the not-so-distant future.

This sounds better all the time. I guessed the traveling show aspect but not the magic show angle and interactive queue. Very cool. :)
