Town Car or Limo?

Hello there,

We're planning a trip to WDW in the fall/winter. Having no kids, we've decided we'd like to arrange private transportation to the GF resort. Other than the spaciousness, I'm trying to decide if a limo is worth the extra $$$ for the splurge. It's just the two of us.

Are there any special perks with taking a limo? Free drinks or something special?

Disney recommends Star but the prices are outrageous!

I've looked at both FLTours and the sponsor Quicksilver (who has a VERY nice website ), so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

We have used Sunray in the past and will again in November. Small outfit, no limo, they use large SUV's. Really personal.

We used Happy Limo and had a great time! Price wasn't that bad either. If it's just the 2 of you and you're staying at GF, you might as well splurge on a limo!

A town car is very nice for 2 people.

Benefits of a limo over a town car:

- extra room
- tv
- probably beverages (water, soft drinks) and bag snacks (chips etc)

If it was just myself and my wife, we would do the town car. We've used Prestige Towncar.

Limo...easily

Splurge on the limo. It's amazing what kind of effect the limo will have on the kids. It'll be something they'll remember for a loooonnnnggg time. Plus, when you arrive at your hotel, it's always kinda nice to see the faces of people when it pulls up.

My wife and I took a limo the first time we went back in 1999. I can't remember what company it was, but, instead of privacy, we ended up talking to the driver the whole way there and back.

Enjoy your trip,

Jay

I vote a limo... We took a limo for my son's first visit a number of years ago. He was to little to appreciate it but for my wife and I, we really enjoyed the experience. Highlight was when we pulled up to the Poly, a crowd of people showed up to see who was in the limo. Even funnier, despite us being nobodies, they stood around staring at us trying to recognize us and make us someone famous. It really was fun. We even had people checking us out as we checked in inside the Poly... :ROFLOL:
Our 15 minutes of Lame Fame... :D
