in the police report, they said that there were pictures taken and included in the report. its sort of off- topic but i want to see the elevator being worked on.
I am sure these were not released. However you can see some behind-the-scenes video of the tower ride vehicles (both the AGV and the VVC) on the Travel channel's WDW behind the scenes episode.

The headache and dry heaves are what made me think it sounded like meningitis. Dehydration can have those symptoms, too. However, I didn't know that they had actually removed a blood clot when I said the symptoms sounded like that--I certainly didn't mean to cause a panic.

I was watching channel 13 news at midnight. And they had the call that MGM made to the paramedics. I then reconized the dispatcher's voice. He's one of our church friends that works for Reedy Creek. I will try to see if he has any insight, since he answered the call.

By the way, I believe that the parents knew about this condition..so I find that sort of weird.

Does anyone have a link to a picture of this girl? My mom saw the picture from the ride this morning, but I haven't seen it yet.

Based on death investigations I have seen and or been a part of, it sounds exactly like an annurism (sp).

by the way no offense to the deputy but that was an extremely "scattered" report.

It sounds like it could be an annurism. And survival from that if it pops i think is 5 percent. I know someone who has a pre-existing condition and this may happen in her head.

I personally think it sounds as if she had a blood clot. Remember, she came from the United Kingdom, therefore she was on at least a 7-10 hour flight if not more, in which blood clots tend to form. They form because you are sitting for long periods of time, and you do not have as much blood circulating through your legs. When she had been complaining of leg cramps and headaches prior to going on the ride and then a massive headache and shakiness after the ride, to me it sounds like she was passing a clot. Especially since they removed a lot of blood from her brain.

Melissa, she did have a blood clot, a very big one. It was removed during surgery. Those kind of clots do not come from bad circulation (thats inside the blood vessel) but from a rupture.(that is where the massive headache comes from) In essence she had a stroke (they reported that she had a limp arm - offhand I don't remember which one), the clot was on the outside of her brain, not inside it.
If a clot had broken loose inside a vessel the symptoms would be different and they should have shown up sooner after her trip. They would have caused pain in her leg, not muscle cramps.

The leg cramps could be a result of dehydration, which is very common in very hot weather. It has happened to me before; I have also had blood clots in my leg so I can personally testify to the difference in the type of pain.

Have you read thru the other thread? There is some discussion and reports that may clear things up.

(how is Scottie doing? Having fun in Florida? )

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't imagine he'd be allowed to make any comments...

oh my god what are you people like assuming what happened to the girl, you all should be more considerate. for all you people who have said that it may have been the plane journey- which takes between 8 and 9 hours from the united kingdom - the girl may have been doing the leg and arm excercises that they tell you about or walking about during the plane journey. i hope shes alright and her family are in my thoughts.

Nobody is blaming the girl. However the fact is that nothing went wrong on the ride, and millions of others have safely ridden the ride. Thus, there had to be some other problem that the girl already had. Since the family admits the girl had been complaining of leg cramps and head aches for a few days others on these boards are simply using the information they have to form an opinion. I can only speak for myself but I believe the thoughts of nearly everyone on these boards are with the girl and none of wish to be inconsiderate we are simply debating the possible causes for the girls issue.

i understand that - everybody is entitled to their own opinion. but people should really wait for the medical report before they start assuming/speculating things because eveyone adds stuff to rumors, we should all wait for the medical report.
