Tower of Terror Refurb

I just read on the wdwig.com website that the Tower of Terror is going to be under rehab and down from 10/13 through 10/19. Earlier announcements had it closed through 10/18 and opening back up on the 19th. We are going down 10/15 and had purposely planned to wait until 10/19 to go to MGM because Tower of Terror wouldn't be open. Does anyone know if it actually will be up and running on the 19th?

I have been trying to find out myself this week? I am going to WDW on Saturday thru the 18th, and I am very disappointed...
I am going to MGM on Sunday to ride TOT a million times...
I have heard conflicting respones to the referb.... Some say it will totally shut down, others say, they will try to keep one side of it open.... I would like to know myself....

Straight from waltdisneyworld.com it states:

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ will be closed for refurbishment
October 13 - October 18.

I would go by this...it's the official source (although they do have the right to change that at any time.)

THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO! I think we'll still plan on going on 10/19 - looks like only one side is going to be open for a while so doesn't make a difference if we wait a day or two.

Can't wait - 4 more days a a wake-up!!!!! All Star Movies - here we come!!!!!
