I have been on ToT many times, its definitely my favorite ride in WDW :D
I recently starting watching old Twilight Zone episodes. There was a marathon on SyFy back over the 4th of July and ever since then I have been hooked! I thought I heard someone mention that there are things related to the Twilight Zone throughout the ToT.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
thanks!

Chalk Marks on the Wall - "Little Girl Lost" - This design indicates a doorway into another dimension.
Voice of little girl can be heard through the static of the radio on the workbench (Boiler room) - "Little Girl Lost"
Where/when can this be seen/heard? I only thought that it was in the California version...

There is a sign advertising the musical entertainment at the Tip Top Club; Anthony Fremont. Anthony Fremont is the name of the little boy from the Twilight Zone episode "It's a Good Life", in which he has the power to change people, and make them disappear into the cornfield.

This is what I love about WDW. I am another one who became obsessed with The Twilight Zone following my first ride on TOT.

Lots of things. You just have to ride TOT now that you've seen the show and everything will click. Like the e=mc2, that little beam of light on the edge of the doors right as they open, and the whole theme in general.

BTW: when i first rode ToT years ago, i made my parents get the sifi channel so i could see this show too. It really is a great show, especially at night time ;-)

The only episode I remember of that show is an episode where this girl was having surgery on her face, and she kept saying things like, "Make me beautiful doctor!"

At the end of the episode, they do surgery, and then they unwrap her face, and she is super pretty. Then all the doctors start freaking out, and saying, "It didn't work! Oh no!" Then, all the doctors remove their surgical masks, and they all have pig noses, and weird disfigured faces.........:eek::lookaroun:cry:

I have been watching the marathons for years on the scifi channel. They have marathon every 4th of July and every New Years as well if you want to catch that one!

I am completely hooked now! I like how the episode ends and you never really find out what happened...

I have a whole bunch on my DVR right now!

This is what so amazes me about Disney and their talented staff of Imagineers. They took a old black and white show, added the Disney spin with by coming up with an original storyline, blended it perfect with the old "Twilight Zone" episodes and then built a thrill ride out of it.

Not to bag on Universal, they had a fantastic movie franchise, made a ride out of it, and now its gone. I loved all the "Back to the Future" movies but why didnt it have the staying power that a 30 minute black and white TV show from the 60's have?

Beacuse The Twilight Zone did not have a big name star to draw in the kids, a snappy "safe" rap theme song, some zippy one liners, and a smattering of GC

It has something called good writing :) Which is sadly missing from much of TV, in all types of shows. (Would this be a good time to say RIP Mr. Gelbart ?)

I have never seen that on many trips through the basement in the WDW version.

It's also somthing I think I would have noticed if I did see it. Those marks are pretty distinctive. I would have recognized them for what they were.

Of course I have blundered by other things as well, so maybe not. :)

The actress who played the part? Donna Douglas, aka Elly Mae Clampett!

One of my favorite, and one of the most bizarre shows they did. :)

Suspended in time and space for a moment, your introduction to Miss Janet Tyler, who lives in a very private world of darkness, a universe whose dimensions are the size, thickness, length of a swath of bandages that cover her face. In a moment we'll go back into this room, and also in a moment we'll look under those bandages, keeping in mind, of course, that we're not to be surprised by what we see, because this isn't just a hospital, and this patient 307 is not just a woman. This happens to be the Twilight Zone, and Miss Janet Tyler, with you, is about to enter it

That is a classic of classics, but I don't know if I would say its one of the most bizzare - there are plenty of bizzarrer ones :)

"Five Strangers Trying To Escape". "Will The Real Martian Stand Up?". "Where is Everybody?". "A Most Unusual Camera".

Some favorites of mine. :D
