I LOVE ToT!!! It's one of my favorite rides, and I'm not a fan of heights either, but I LOVE that free fall feeling. Much more appealing to me than the squished feeling you get going on loops.
I absolutely beat my sister into submission when it came to this ride, since she had never tried it and it is one of my favorites. She tried it, and she hated it, and I'll never ask her to go on it again.
I would recommend going on it with someone who has been before, like your husband or children. Get them to warn you
before the elevator drops so you can brace yourself. After that, the drops could range anywhere from 3 to 5 times, top to bottom or small drops. I tried to warn my mom how many times we would be going and it turned out to be the longest ride I had ever had. I always have a good time on this ride, simply because of the excellent theming and cast members.
Try it. At least that way you KNOW you hate it, and you won't be missing out on something you could enjoy. You won't die (even though sometimes we feel like scary rides will kill us
) so just go once, that way you'll know for sure. I went on Rock n' Roller Coaster once, hated it, and then went again 3 years later and loved it. You never know.
