If this is true and they are turning the BEST ride (in our opinion) into a Guardians of Galaxy ride I will be more than disappointed. We love that ride and when my daughter was 8 I think we went on that ride about 12 times in one trip. It's themed so well and such a fun ride. Its always been popular so why change it. They could easily take down another less popular show to make a Guardian of the Galaxy one. Why do they have to ruin this one? We are going to DWorld this summer and we already knew that HS was going not going to be a full day at the park. If the close this ride, I think in the future HS will be a skip day. What are they doing to this park?

It is likely in DCA, (not a sure thing) but, it is anything, but, confirmed for WDW. Don't panic just yet.

I'm not in a panic but seriously HS just seems to be lacking lately. ToT is my favorite at that park, Midway Mania is fun. I always thought Rock N Roll Rollercoaster was overrated. Star Wars feels dated now , i will be happy when its updated. And that's it. That's all we want to do at HS now. We've seen Indiana Jones and Fantasmic so many times we skip it now. If they were to take away ToT I don't think the park would be worth going to. Just my opinion.

True, but that is currently. If they come through with the stuff that they have promised it will be much better. As far as ToT is concerned, personally, I feel that it is a very slim chance that they will change anything, however, if they do all that should be changing is the story line. It will still have the same type ending as the old one. I really doubt that you have to worry about it though. It's possible, like anything is possible, but, I don't see it being a smart move and I don't especially see it as being anything but idiotic if done before the new areas are completed.

Part of the article make it sound like a summer overlay and part of it makes it sound permanent. I could get behind anything for a summer marketing push. But permanent - especially in WDW (the one TOT that goes above and beyond with the fifth dimension just seems ludicrous.

I wouldn't mind it as much in CA because TOT just isn't as good there and was originally done on a poor budget, with some really weird features (elevator doors that open to a hallway? Huh?)
