Has anyone ever used the online Touring Plans recommended in the Unofficial Guide? Do they work?

Am thinking the Happy Families 2 day one might be best for us with an 7 1/2yr old and a 12yr old? Dont particularly want to have to walk back and forward all the time as it gets the kids too tired.

I just subscribed to the touring plans website and was curious if you could look at previous weeks on the calendar. I looked last night and it wasn't obvious to me (of course, I may have missed something obvious, I was tired). In particular, we are having a family reunion next year at WDW and two weeks work for us. The first is the the week of Gay Days and the following week. So, I wondered if I went to a park that was not on the official schedule during the week of Gay Days would that be more crowded due to the overflow effect or would the same park, on the same day the following week be more crowded due to more kids being out of school. Or are they rougly equivalent. So...I just wanted to take a gander at the two equivalent weeks from this calendar year.

OK, I admit it! I am a Disney novice...what web site for touring plans are you all referring to? Sounds helpful for our August trip...espcially since I can't figure out how to visit 4 parks in 6 days without having to wake-up at 6 am everyday...got teens and sleeping in 1-2 dyas will surely help improve the mood!

This is probably against the forum rules (if so, please accept my apologies in advance) but the website is touringplans.com. It is the website associated with the Unofficial Guide to WDW.

I would use any touring book/website as a guide to assist you with your planning. Yes, some of the things on their site is basically common sense, but they do have some useful hints that not many people know.
