I found a picture of the Imagineer leading the tour (like a lot of CMs these days, he works at both Uni and WDW):

I feel the need to bring up the hidden Basketball court, even though it is most likely a tragic rumour that i want to be true for some reason.

The bball court is rumored to be in the Matterhorn at DL (and, it is, I've seen a picture of it...but, it's really more like a 1/4 court with a hoop hung on it), not Everest at WDW.
Yeah i've heard of that one, but there's a Everest rumour too. o_O Unless someone else got in wrong and it's just spiralled.

I wish I was able to attend this special opportunity as the whole Imagineering aspect of Disney fascinates me.... now we need a yeti insider.

Useless. Utterly useless.
I haven't really gotten the concept of any of the "Limited Time Magic" offers. Nothing has appealed to me.:(
Indeed! And apart from most of their offers being quite unapealling, even if I would want to attend, I can't possibly on short notice.
Other than to locals, what use are these temporary offerings? I'm sitting here reading all yeard long about temporary magic that I couldn't possibly attend if I wanted to.

I would guess one of the uses is readily apparent- Disney has used the "Limited Time Magic" promotion to repeatedly drum up coverage on Disney news sites and forums for the successive mini-events. Another large use for this promotion has been to allow Disney to test several different mini-events and see which aspects work. The laboratory approach is suited to the short-notice these events are getting because there's less of a chance of guests overwhelming any particular promotion, so the teams behind them have a fair shot at testing the min-events under semi-normal conditions.

...and I was wondering what the limited time magic was going to be while I'm there..

I looked on the Parks Blog this morning about it since I'm there at park opening on Wednesday until lunch, but I didn't even see a link for it...guess they already picked everyone for it???
