This may sound like a ridiculous question, but does it feel less "Disney" to stay there? Do you get all the same perks as those guests staying at Disney hotels? I know Lewisc just said that guests can take advantage of extra evening hours, so that's good.

There used to be a bunch of perks that you got from Disney but not at the S&D like free magic bands, free parking, Magical Express, but Disney has eliminated most of them.

Guests at Swan and Dolphin get free theme parking. Disney joined S/D in charging guests for resort parking

The one drawback about S/D is they also charge a daily resort fee of ~$35 (on top of parking). But still a good deal for a “deluxe”, especially if you’re not parking a car!
