Really? I've honestly never heard of anyone not liking HM before.

Here is the thing about Dole Whips. They are made of a mix of sweet vanilla and slightly tart pineapple ice cream, swirled together so that it not only looks beautiful but tastes sweet and refreshing at the same time. You can only get it in Adventureland (ok, and at the Polynesian), which makes it extra special because you're eating it while walking past the Swiss Family Treehouse and the Jungle Cruise and the Tiki Room and Pirates. So just to recap, it's a delicious treat that is totally refreshing as you eat it on a hot day while strolling around basically the best part of DW. Does that help anyone get it? :)

I've actually had it on the Dole Plantation in Hawaii as well.

The Great Movie Ride. I finally broke down and went on it during Christmas week when the line was 30 minutes long and it fell flat for me. I just don't get what all the hype is about! It was super slow, the animatronics are old as dirt and look it, and I didn't recognize half the movies represented.

What hype? The Great Movie Ride has never had hype and is one of the least popular rides at DHS, in the peak of summer it is always a walk on.

I can't believe I'm the one that's going to have to say it... Expedition Everest. My dislike for EE doesn't even have anything to do with the Yeti. The ride is not that fast, the stopping and starting does nothing but ruin any momentum the ride would have and it's jerky as hell. The story line and Yeti don't bother me. The queue is actually nicely detailed, but the execution of the queue should not be better than the ride itself, which, IMO it is in this case. I just don't get the hype. Really not worth it.

There! I said it! Now I'm going to go run and hide.

Ok, you've convinced me at least. I have always read so much about these Dole Whips, and then on my last trip I saw them and still decided against trying one. But next time I will!

My first experience of waiting for a totally not worth it ride was The Enchanted Tiki room. I remember waiting forever to get in there as a young kid with my parents, and then 3 mins into the show we all looked at each other like...uh oh!

I have yet to ride pooh due to the long wait! Isn't it a kiddie ride? What is it about that ride that people are willing to wait so long?

I don't know... but I do like the ride, I go on it when the line is at 30 minutes or less.. has a neat queue and well I'm a pooh freak.."tut tut it looks like rain...bother.. i did know once only I've sort of forgotten.. and the best if you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.."
