Hmmm....not that i know of....but I would guess if they were it would be during the value season, when park attendance is the lowest....but I may be wrong!:) :)

They both just had recent extensive rehabs, so they should be all clear for the next year or so. However, both attractions are incredibly complex, and problems can arise which require some downtime for rehabs. So while its unlikely, there are no guarantees. :)

I've been hearing rumors about "upgraded" effects for dear ToT! :)

I have also heard talks of bringing some of the effects over to MGM that they are using in the DCA and Paris towers. If they did do this, it would probably be after the new Towers are tested and opened so they could see public reactions and see if they even wanted to transplant some effects.

Personally I don't know what to think about upgrading the effects. On one hand you hate to see the ride change, on the other change can be good. For example the upgrade to ToT4 was a great change, and I enjoy it greatly. It would all depend on exactly what the effects were. I would not like the entire plot of the ride changed.

I can tell you it will turn out great! It shows everything Imagineers wanted in the original ToT but couldn't create because of technology! The twilight theme is supposed to be everything they dreamed about! Very exciting!:D

They just came back from a rehab, ToT 4 especially. And if they ever do go into rehab it won't be at the same time, since there the parks 2 most popular rides at MGM. So they would lose a lot of guests for that reason.
