Hi never ate at Topolinos. I see breakfast is $45 and the online menu shows the entrees. Do you just get an entree? I seem to remember something about appetizers that came with it. if not, I don’t consider myself cheap, but if you get 2 eggs any style is that all you get for $45?

We've been able to order more in the past. For a party of four adults, we've each ordered a main entree that comes as described on the menu, gotten the fruit plate "for the table", and also gotten the waffles as a side to share (sometimes the sour cream waffles and sometimes the kids Mickey waffle dippers) -- which came as just waffles on a smaller plate (no bacon, sausage or whatever it comes with when served as an entree). The portions are pretty good-sized and don't forget the initial pastries basket (choc chip muffins, croissants, danish) with jam and butter (also refillable). No question it's $$$ but the food is good and the character interactions are well done. I did see one report recently where they said they weren't able to order more than a single entree but it was contradicted by a few other posters who said that they were able to in the same timeframe. We're going next month and hoping to do "our usual."

The official description on the WDW website says:
Breakfast begins with fresh pastries and bread. Your choice of entrées include: Quiche Gruyère with house-made pancetta, Sour Cream Waffle, Smoked Salmon, Two Eggs Any Style, and more. Whichever you select, breakfast in this charming café is an enchanting way to start your day.
However as mentioned above, you may be able to order more than one entree each/have extra to share as sides. One entree plus the pastries and bread was more than enough for us though!

Went with my grandsons and we got refills on the pastry platter - specific to requests. The kids also got refills on the breakfast platter. You will not go hungry.

I ate there in late January, so not very recently. It was me and my 19 month old. The server said I could order her a kids meal, but I would be charged for it. But I could also just order something extra for myself and she could share. So I got an entree plus a side of some scrambled eggs and we shared. They were also happy to bring us more fruit and more pastries. I don’t know if we could have ordered a whole second entree or not, but the server was very nice and helpful.

That is terrible. Should be able to get a Waffle or Eggs with my meal for that price. They used to ask if there was anything else you wanted.
No restaurant is giving you anything extra these days. From my experiences with restaurants at home, there was apparently an industry-wide decision to cut portion sizes on everything. I didn't even get a full container of rice from my last Thai takeout order.

So now on another website someone is claiming you can order 1 entree and lets say 1 waffle as part of another. Also they are stating they didn't give them more pastries when they ran out. We are bring people to Disney that have never been there before and want them to have proper expectations and not hear about what it used to be like.

We (family of 5) are staying at Riveria this summer. We were thinking of maybe going to breakfast here one day (we are a 2BR DVC, normally we eat in the room, just a lot easier).

Not for north of $250 we are not. We eat out quite a bit, in fact maybe more than we really should (2x week), and at all sorts of price points. I am also in one of the more expensive parts of the country for dining out. I am pretty attuned to what restaurant pricing is, and where it has been going as of late, given both food costs and labor costs (and since we cook the other 5 nights a week, I am well aware of food costs).

However WDW dining prices are just ridiculous. Even the pricier better end restaurants around here (that are head and shoulders above WDW) are significantly cheaper than WDW. It really boggles my mind how they can have these places packed at the prices they charge for the product the offer.

We went it May last year (adults and 9 yo) yes it was pricey BUT the character interactions were amazing, the setting nice and not rushed.

We were served the pastries/muffins first, my son decided on the Mickey waffles (see photo they're mini) and sausage, the adults were told you could order one main and another main but this would be a smaller portion.

I went for the steak (this was delish and we still talk about wanting this) and then the waffle for my mini main. (Photos attached)

Was it pricey YES at the time did we still feel it was worth it YES. Was it on our to do list again this October YES .. will the change to 1 main maybe influence a different decision YES.

The reason for stopping it is apparently because so much food was going to waste every day, as people would order extras and then not eat it/finish it. It's something WDW as a whole is trying to get better at.
