Teppan Edo is really good. My family eats there twice per trip. Like i already said, Chefs de France. That's my favorite on property.

I can't believe the number of people picking Biergarten and Marrakesh. I have never had a good meal at either of those places. Biergarten I ate oranges the whole time. I'm not wild about German food in general, but that was disgusting. The QS at each of those places is better.

Some have mentioned Rose n Crown. I'm not wild about the food there; it's usually hit or miss, but if you can get a late enough reservation (7:30 or later) and you ask for a table outside (not hard to get) there's a great view of Illuminations from there. Their desserts are pretty good too, so you can enjoy one while watching fireworks.

If you want to be able to do a late dinner and watch Illuminations from the restaurant then I'd recommend either La Hacienda in Mexico or Rose and Crown. We did this at La Hacienda couple of years ago and it was great! Food was very good, and we got a table right by the windows. We're going to try R&C in June.

San Angel would be my go to on this question. It used to have a little bit of a stigma, but over the last five years, it has steadily gotten better and better. I now think it's one of the better casual restaurants on property, definitely a top ten in that category for me.

With the addition of the recent full La Cava menu on the standard restaurant menu, it has only gotten more desirable. Plus, you can't really beat the theme of the ambiance in there. It's a fascinating bit of Imagineering.

I've got a lovely blackmail picture from the last trip! If he doesn't behave I tell him I will show it to his best friend!

Yup, we give our DS 2 dinner picks each trip, I remember my DW's surprise when is a few short years he went from Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace toTthe Spirit of Aloha (hula girls) and Restaurant Marrakesh (belly dancer).
