Top 5 Most Expensive Disney Resorts

We booked the Savanna 2 bedroom villa at the Kidani. It retails for over 1400 dollar's a night.

And a two-bedroom suite at Poly will run you nearly $2,500 a night retail during peak season, nearly $1,500 for a themepark view two-bedroom villa at BLT, and nearly $1,800 a night for a lake view two-bedroom villa at GF.

I was thinking of the regular deluxe resort rooms when I replied, but even if you compare the Villas, BLT, GF Villas, and Poly come out more expensive than AKL for an apples-to-apples room (I'm not considering the club level AKL rooms to be the "same" as the other Villas), unless I'm missing something...

If you compare apples-to-apples, AKL Kidani is a bit cheaper than BLT:

Cheaper than GF Villas as well:

Definitely cheaper than the Poly Suites:

I think the problem is the room type you're using as your comparison. When asking which resort is the most expensive, most people would start from the bottom up. i.e. based on the cheapest possible room available, which resorts would be the most expensive?

We've found the GF to have the highest base prices, followed by the Poly, Contemporary, Boardwalk, and then YC/BC as a tie for 5th. WL is typically a hair more than AKL for a standard room, but either way, their base prices are typically the cheapest of the deluxe category when it comes to basic rooms.

Now villas are a different story, but I'm pretty sure a 2 bedroom MK view villa at BLT would be more than the savannah view villa at Kidani. It's not a knock against Kidani, you just pay more to be on the monorail and right on top of MK at BLT. I'm also guessing by the price you're quoting that you're going during peak, so naturally prices will be inflated.

For the same dates - The 2 bedroom villa with a lake view at the Floridian is $1758.00 per night. The Kidani savanna 2 bedroom villa with animal view is $1496.00 per night. For a 1 bedroom up to 5 people the Polynesian resort looks to be 1572.00 per day.

Have you read this thread @real mad hatter :greedy::greedy::greedy: and are you crying yet
No..Not crying..Confused yes...But crying no..To find out the OP's answer is easy..Just refer to your WDW brochure..It gives every resort prices..low season..Middle season..high season..Unless the OP is doing research like I done almost two years ago this month..Was asked by my local library to write a reference book on WDW..My name was forwarded by my sons school teacher..He told her.." My dad is crazy about WDW and knows everything there is to know." :jawdrop:...Kids eh...

Are you counting suites and grand villas or just average rooms in hotels?

For hotel rooms, GF & Poly will usually be the most expensive, followed closely by Contemporary, Beach Club and BWI.

Pop & All Stars will be the cheapest.

Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas are the most expensive I think.;)
AKL Villas are the most reasonable IMHO.;)
BLTowers can get pricey depending upon the view of the room.
The new GF Villas will soon probably be the most expensive!:jawdrop:
