Where might this be? Not in FL to my knowledge.

The two things I enjoyed the most that came out of Disneyland's 50th Anniversary were (1) Remember Dreams Come True fireworks, and (2) the gold-painted ride vehicles that were used for photo ops.

Mostly, what I have to say is less specific, but I'd love to see a real return of LIVE ENTERTAINMENT. More bands, and musical groups, singers, comedy, etc. that guests could find all over the parks. These little bits of entertainment really made the parks come alive.

I'd like to see them really focus on the Walt Disney World of the past. Really celebrate the entire long journey that WDW took to get to where it is now.

Finally, I know. it may be pretty impractical, but some 24 hour events where the theme parks would stay open literally around the clock. I went to one of the ones that Disneyland used to periodically had and it was one of the best times EVER. Maybe just one of the theme parks two nights a month or something.

Anyway, just my two cents.

So it has been nearly a month since anyone posted on here, but they revealed a bit more since then, we now know main street and fantasyland will get some gold throughout to dazzle the areas, and we have an update with the jungle cruise refurbishment, and it seems we may have alberta falls as part of it, for those who don't know, her character is part of the jungle skippers canteen restaurant, which I thought was clever, also knowing now that florida will have everyone 18 and over to be eligible for the covid vaccine, there is hope much more is coming, also may have heard that there will be reservations to meet characters, which if you ask me beats lines by a long shot if it happens, things are looking good.

My no. one hope for the 50th was a nighttime parade (preferably a brand new fantasy-themed modern electrical parade in the vein of TDL's Dreamlights, but at this point I would settle for cloning or sending over PTN). Obviously COVID killed that dream if it was ever likely to begin with. Honestly at this point, my expectations for Oct. aren't high, I'm mostly just hoping FoF and all the nighttime spectaculars will be back in time for the anniversary (and MNSSHP as well, fingers crossed). A 50th celebration without all or most of those things would feel so depressing to me.

Also totally agree with the suggestion of a 24-hour event at MK (or something similar) since I think it would make for great publicity and be a lot of fun. Not holding my breath for something like that, though.

There is still hope I am positive some things will happen, we are still many months away, and I am pretty sure Disney will reveal more info as we get closer, I am just hoping many of the rare characters we don't normally see often return during this time. Also seeing Fantasyland get more gold leaf accents means something special is abound even though it is a repaint but still. Also speaking of the characters, Hong Kong Disneyland revealed new looks for Woody, Buzz, and Jessie a few weeks ago, and they look so much better, I am sure they will come to WDW by the 50th start.

Depends on how serious they were and how badly they wanted a parade. If so I could see something happening Spring or Summer 2022. Not sooner though. Not really expecting FoF to return until 2022 either to be honest.

Like I said, it is really difficult to pinpoint what will happen, even though some attraction openings got delayed, I do feel like more surprises are in store to be revealed before or during the 18 month long celebration
