Direct from Screamscape:

2007 - Toon Studios - Confirmed - (1/19/05) A reader was kind enough to send in this piece of old concept artwork showing off the Toon Studios idea and how it will fit with the Magic Carpets, though it seems some of the Bugs Land rides lifted from California Adventure will likely be replaced with new ideas themed to either Toy Story or Incredibles. You can also see the entrance to the Nemo themed dark ride.

I think it looks rather lame IMO. I was hoping for something along the lines of Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland, not this "suped-up" a bugs land. I guess it will be up to the Tower of Terror to save the Studios....and that's not until 2008.

Hi guys,

I know at this stage it is only concept art, but we all know what that means by now at DLRP, they become the best laid plans!

Do they really need till 2007 to get this set up. Looks like a weekend job to me!!! A couple of builders, a painter and an imagineer in Burbank video conferencing.

This doesn't fill us up with much hope for the Tower of Terror.

Incidently in the Hong Kong and Tokyo Disneyland Forums there is a new thread on Tokyo's Tower of Terror. I doubt very much we are running to this budget in Paris. Have a look!

I believe the one in Paris may end up Mediterranean style, pure white with terracotta roofing tiles. Might be interesting as long as they don't compromise on the effects. Afterall these are what also leave you agasp when you exit.

Have a great day. Please collect all your belongings and carefully step to the right!

Hey, you never know... they could build a 200ft high square beige soundstage, and put the drop shafts inside. They'd save money in shaping it like a hotel then, and it'd look like all the other buildings in the studios :zipit:
