Too old for character dining?

A good friend of mine went to Disney for her daughter's Sweet 16 gift last year. Crystal Palace breakfast was her birthday breakfast. Pooh is her fave and she had a blast. That being said, I am much older than 16 and I would probably go to Crsytal Palace even if the kids weren't with us. :D

If she wants to do it, she's not too old. There is no such thing as "too old" if you want to do it!

DS stopped when he was 13 or 14 years old. I got him back in when he was 21 but only because I threatened to cancel the Vegas trip if he didn't go with me, lol.

Bribing a child with booze and gambling might not work for everyone. I never saw it in Dr. Spock or Penelope Leach.

I love having dinner or lunch with characters, princess', Pooh and the gang, Chef Mickey's love it all! Have a wonderful time, my DD is turning 12 this year too and I can't wait to have our "girl" time in WDW.

I've never gone to WDW with kids and I always have atleast one character meal as an ADR. Not to mention I stand in line to meet every character throughout the park even though I've met them a million times. Like others have said, there is no such thing as "too old" in Disney.

My wife is 39 and I am 45 and we LOVE the character meals and FULLY interact with them by asking them all sorts of funny questions and really have a good time with it. Because of this we have had some very funny moments and great memories especially with Chip & Dale at the Garden Grill. My wife.....being a big Eeyore fan.... always wears an Eeyore shirt to the Crystal Palace and it always turns into a memorable time.
